ManTech SME Integrated Systems Architect in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SME Integrated Systems Architect to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Integrated Systems Architect supports achievement of the organizational mission goals and the best key stakeholder experience possible within program objectives by supporting the technical research and development for the long-term system roadmap.

  • Provide requirements definition and engineering analysis and development services to support the Government architecture and requirements definition; transform user operational needs and requirements into solutions and technical capabilities to address the envisioned use, environments, and desired output characteristics; support the creation and/or decomposition of higher-level functions; and employ engineering and systems architecture tools, such as functional block diagrams, flow diagrams, timelines, and control/data flow diagrams, to document the system architecture.

  • Support the conduct of trade studies to support functional allocation of requirements, evaluate alternative architectures and solution sets, support cost and performance trade-offs, and examine proposed system changes.

  • Support the conduct of AoA and AA and conduct market research of commercial and non-developmental items to determine what solutions are available.

  • Support programs in maintaining program alignment within DHS and CBP system architectures and technology standards.

  • Support programs in defining a framework and/or structure of components, principles, and guidelines to support development of performance, process models and as-is/to-be architecture documentation, and enterprise architecture reviews and visualizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or scientific/technical discipline.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in communication networks and architectures.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
