ManTech Senior Requirements Engineer, CRD in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Requirements Engineer, CRD to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Requirements Engineer for CRD supports Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) tailoring activities and the development of engineering requirements documentation for programs as assigned.

  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate actions required to support a specified system engineering project or program segment by identifying and documenting requirements for system design, qualification and acceptance testing.

  • Interface with all engineering disciplines to ensure continuity and traceability through all stages of the system development with system level architecture, functional allocation, major interface definition, feasibility analysis, and trade studies.

  • Support the requirements development, traceability, and verification process and provide technical advisory support to multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Teams/Working Groups.

  • Support analyses, trade studies, modeling and simulation, prototyping, and research to help optimize system requirements and minimize program risk.

  • Support design reviews to ensure tasks and actions for specified milestone entrance/exit criteria and government-established top-level requirements are met.

  • As required, support the iterative Mission Needs Analysis process and assist in the definition of engineering assessments through requirements elicitation and interaction with a broad, diverse stakeholder community.

  • Support AoAs, trade studies and DOTMLPF studies and develop recommended solutions to support capability-based engineering requirements development approaches as required.

  • Support the application of systems engineering policies and processes to ensure high workmanship standards and compliance with DHS Systems Engineering standards and procedures.

  • Support the technical review process and assess performance and work products.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to team and IPT members and government representatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of technical experience in leading systems engineering requirements activities for technical development of acquisition programs.

  • Master's degree in an engineering, physics, computer science or related technical discipline.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Requirements management software program skills.

  • Advanced degree in an engineering, physics, computer science or related technical discipline.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
