ManTech Cyber Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Program Manager to join our team in the national capital region. You will provide technical leadership, direction, and management to the contract workforce and will ensure compliance with all task order requirements. You will be the primary point of contact for the work to be performed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads, directs, and manages a diverse and professional staff to ensure responsiveness and in completion of the Statement of Work (SOW); leads team in executing project tasks/activities, supervises work completion, performs quality reviews, and reports progress

  • Provides direct input for solving complex issues involving staff and resources of sizable magnitude

  • Responds in a timely fashion to day-to-day tasks, issues, or planned/unplanned contract changes

  • Manage projects by developing project plans, developing/maintaining schedules, project implementation, tracking progress, analyzing results and reporting risks

  • Manage the contract/task order cost with support from Program Control Analysts

  • Responsible for Planning, scheduling, and updating program activities in tracking tools

  • Responsible for establishing milestones and baselines and monitoring adherence to project plans and schedules. Accountable for managing and communicating short and long-term direction.

  • Identifies high risk areas and presents recommendations to management

  • Support the overall contract plan by monitoring project team performance and outcomes relative to established tasks goals/measurements

  • Analyzes and manage program metrics to ensure they are in accordance with customer Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans

  • Approves timesheets, expense reports, completes employee evaluations, interviews staff, and manages personnel

  • Responsible for all areas of customer delivery and personnel management

  • Reports to the ManTech Portfolio Manager in every aspect of planning effort, contract performance, project schedule development, cost, scope, quality, etc.

  • Prepares monthly status reports, weekly status reports, and participate in Daily Standups

  • Analyzes program status data and to recommends corrective actions

  • Builds and maintains influential relationships with key client personnel

  • Supports corporate functions (time reporting, policies, goal setting, etc.)

  • Prepare contract deliverables and detailed reports

  • Complete logistical contract actions, such as contractor travel, training, time and attendance and personnel actions.

  • Liaison with Contracting Officer’s Representative and other Government staff

  • Primarily manages through subordinate management and/or directly manages experienced specialists.

  • Contributes to the development of the strategy and operational direction.

  • Establishes and implements tactical and operational plans with significant impact on the achievement of functional results.

  • Has responsibility for communicating with diverse parties external to the organization.

  • Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-unit project or program teams or manage across multiple functions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • A bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) four years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • A minimum of (15) fifteen years of program management.

  • Four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity -OR - Six (6) years of documented cybersecurity project management experience.

  • Proven ability to lead and provide direct input in solving complex issues involving staff and resources of sizable magnitude

  • Must have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • May require travel to various customer locations

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Must hold a current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
