ManTech Informatica IDQ Data Engineer III in United States

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Informatica IDQ Data Engineer III to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Data Engineer III profile sources data to determine all source data and metadata characteristics

  • Designs and executes data quality mappings to cleanse, de-duplicate, and prepare project data

  • Implements data quality processes, including transliteration, parsing, analysis, standardization, and enrichment in both point of entry and batch modes

  • Documents all mappings, mapplets, and rules in detail and hand over documentation to the customer

  • Collaborates with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules, proposes optimizations if applicable, and designs and develops these rules with IDQ

  • Utilizes Informatica Developer and Informatica Analyst to design and develop custom objects and rules, reference data tables, and create/import/export mappings

  • Performs thorough data profiling with multiple usage patterns, conducts root cause analysis and data cleansing, and develops scorecards using Informatica, Excel, and other data quality tools

  • Develops matching plans, determines the best matching algorithm, configured identity matching, and analyzes duplicates

  • Builds complex profiles and scripts to execute and test mappings and workflows to implement data stewardship and exception processing

  • Runs data quality specific ETL jobs utilizing IDQ

  • Participates in the improvement of the master data management process and support transactional systems and processes

  • Writes shell-scripts to invoke mappings or workflows

  • Writes SQL queries and verify the results

  • Deploys and validates objects to different environments

  • Creates quality deliverables for customers

  • Drives full life cycle of services/solution delivery for project(s)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business is required.

  • 5+ years of experience in IDQ development around data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, verification, matching, and data quality exception monitoring and handling

  • Experience with Data Quality, ETL, and Data Integration in a mature data environment

  • Experience in SQL development

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizenship and able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time with occasional travel.

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,200-$149,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
