Description

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior Data Architect to join our team to provide unparalleled support to multiple federal agencies through the Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) Program. The CDM Program is a high-profile, high-visibility, cybersecurity modernization and risk management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult with multiple federal agencies to enhance their Information Assurance (IA) programs and continuous monitoring capabilities. As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing the data architecture strategy for CDM, ensuring data integration, scalability, and security. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to drive the development and enhancement of the CDM data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

● Develop and implement the data architecture strategy for the CDM program. Ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.

● Design, model, and deploy innovative and scalable data solutions to support CDM's objectives, including data collection, storage, extraction, transformation, and analysis.

● Collaborate with stakeholders, including federal agencies and technology vendors, to understand their data needs and requirements.

● Guide teams of developers in regard to SQL model implementations, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and Elasticsearch pipeline

● Being able to associate US Federal cybersecurity policies and directives to the solution

● Support team of data analysts in best practices for finding and communicating data quality issues

● Lead the identification and selection of appropriate data technologies, tools, and platforms to support the CDM program.

● Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices across the CDM data ecosystem.

● Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement data integration standards and processes.

● Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data architects and engineers on the CDM program.

● Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data architecture and design.

● Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and other team members to ensure effective utilization of data for threat identification, mitigation, and response.

● Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendors and technologies for data-related projects.

Position Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

● Proven experience in data architecture design and implementation, ideally within a large-scale enterprise environment.

● Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, and database design concepts.

● Experience with data technologies, tools, and platforms such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, ETL, and data visualization tools.

● Knowledge of SQL, Azure Data Factory or similar Cloud based data pipelines, and using BI Dashboards to verify data quality

● Proficiency in data governance, including metadata management, data quality, and data lineage.

● Familiarity with Federal cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and practices is desirable.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Ability to lead and mentor a team of data architects and engineers.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Data Architect) are a plus.

Additional Skills

● Demonstrated ability to present to senior leadership and client audiences.

● Published whitepapers or availability to provide previous technical writing examples is desirable.

Security/Clearance Requirements

● Must be a US citizen and pass a background investigation.

● Able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD)

Physical Requirements

● Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office

The projected compensation range for this position is $141,100-$234,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
