ManTech CCR Technician III- Worldwide in Sterling, Virginia

The CCR Technician will demonstrate and apply broad knowledge ofspecialization through successful completion of moderately complexassignments. Will apply complexknowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for the particulararea of specialization. Will demonstrate knowledge of the organization'sbusiness practices and issues. Thesuccessful candidate will typically possess –at least ten (10) years of successful experience in communications or arelated field and successfully demonstrate key responsibilities and knowledge;Provide operations and maintenance support to multiple tactical and land mobileradio systems including but not limitedto the PRC-152, PRC-152A, PRC-117F, PRC-117G, DTCS-RO, XG-100M, XG-100P,XTS-5000, APX-3000, TK-5210/5310, TK-5710/5810, PYQ-10, KIK-30, KIK-20, and theKIK-13. Subject Matter Expert on networking and other communications equipment (i.e.Harris, Exelis, Kenwood) equipment and will provide O&M support. Proficientin communications surveys, new installations and preventative maintenance forvehicle and fixed site systems, COMSEC management, frequency management,training, and depot level repair for radios, and advanced communicationsmethods using mobile computing devices (i.e. ATAK, WAVE, MDM). Develops and conducts training for U.S.Government personnel and private contractors regarding the proper use, care,maintenance and preventative maintenance of assigned systems.

Qualifications

Must have

a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance. High school

diploma plus ten (10) years of successful experience in communications or a

related field and successfully demonstrate key responsibilities and knowledge. Experience

with COMSEC policies and procedures and familiarization with DOS COMSEC

policies and procedures. Possess knowledge of radio frequency (RF) theory and

principle, and the effects of systems operating in an electronic

countermeasures environment. Excellent technical knowledge of RF Communications

(VHF/UHF/SATCOM/Radio) and mobile computing platforms and networking. Must be

able to specify RF communication equipment compatible with CREW systems.

SECRET Personnel Security Clearance may be required to meet changing

requirements.

A minimum

of two (2) years hands-on work experience with PRC-117F/G and PRC-152/A.

Experience with COMSEC policies and procedures. Possess knowledge of radio

frequency (RF) theory and principle, and the effects of systems operating in an

electronic countermeasures environment. Excellent technical knowledge of RF

Communications (VHF/UHF/SATCOM/Radio) and mobile computing platforms and

networking. Must be able to specify RF communication equipment compatible with

CREW systems.

Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively

under minimal supervision. Must demonstrate the ability to interact

with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful

manner. Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a

cohesive team. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast

paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to

detail. Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills. Must be

proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation

software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint). Within the first year of

employment, attend training and obtain the following certifications: Required

–Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA); CompTIA

Net+; Motorola WAVE Certified Integration Engineer (WCIE). Recommended -

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows 10 or Server 2012/2016;

Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA); CompTIA Security+; External Tower

Climbing, Safety & Rescue Instructor Course. Project

Management Professional (PMP) desired.
