ManTech Warehouse Analyst III in Stafford, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Warehouse Analyst III to join our team in the Stafford, VA .

Description:

  • The Warehouse Analyst III designs and implements procedures to improve the receipt, dispatch, and storage of equipment and parts for computer systems and IT facilities. They optimize warehouse staffing, vehicle fleet utilization, and other equipment availability in the warehouse. They may interact and consult security, sanitation, and administrative personnel responsible for warehouse functions. They work to improve the mission partners’ inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine product utilization and availability and adjust restock levels accordingly. They may perform extensive research on a wide range of warehouse and inventory-related reports, participate in inventory counts and audits, report warehouse inventory statistics to management, and suggest improvements to warehouse operations and controls. Projects may include adopting IT systems to business warehousing processes to achieve focused logistics, total asset visibility, and the integration of global supply chains in anticipated diverse environments. These projects may be under a full spectrum of climatic conditions, such as entry and exit points of military facilities and roadside installations, transactions at custody exchange points, and handling of hazardous, explosive, or other regulated materials. Other duties may include creating or revising operational policies and procedures, implementing physical security operations, and improving the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment to ensure the safety of staff. They also maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities. The Warehouse Analyst III is a senior role with extensive experience in all aspects of logistics for IT equipment and parts storage facilities. Warehouse Analyst III supervises, and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with nine (9) years of experience. (Can be substituted for a HS diploma with 13 years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 11 years of experience.)

  • 5 years of position-specific relevant experience.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and computers.

  • Possesses strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD warehouse systems and equipment as a Contractor, Civilian, or Military personnel.

  • Lean 6-Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance is required prior to starting this position.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
