Job Description:

Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive life-cycle support for PMMI Persistent Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (P-ISR) projects. Work may include tasks such as the following:

  • Develop and coordinate logistics support activity schedules and plans of action and milestones (POA&M)

  • Provide guidance for logistics meetings such as Integrated Product Teams (IPT), working groups, technology transition planning, and life cycle related meetings

  • Develop, coordinate, and prepare logistics briefs, and other executive level documents/products for recurring and stand-alone events

  • Draft and deliver program life cycle support plans

Provide acquisition life cycle support to assist in the development, update, and evaluation of documentation, including the following:

  • Disposition instructions for unnecessary obsolete components

  • Supportability Plans and strategies

  • System Readiness Status Report

  • Documentation in support of fielded systems

  • Training Packages and Training Package Guidelines

  • Request for Nomenclature (DD-61 Process)

  • Manpower and Training Analysis/Plans

  • User Logistics Support Summaries and subsequent evolutions of this document

  • Performance Based Logistics Plans

  • Diminishing Manufacturers Sources and Material Sources Plans

  • Material Fielding Plans

  • Item Unique Identification Plans (IUID)

  • Maintenance Strategies

  • Independent Logistics Assessments

  • Levels of Repair Analysis (LORA)

  • In-Service Management Plans

  • In-Service Management Agreements

  • Logistics Support Plans

  • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Plans

  • Other documentation, as required

Develop, monitor and update supply chain management and system spares programs.

Update the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS).

Develop, update, and perform corrective action on the Cataloging Action Requests (CAR), requests for nomenclature, and Letters of Adoption and Procurement.

Develop update Technical Manuals, Supply Instructions, and Modification Instructions.

Analyze and report on support equipment requirements.

Analyze Business Case Analyses, Facilities Plans, and Maintenance Plans and report results.

Conduct Technical Manual reviews, validation/verification and report findings to ensure the system is properly documented for Marine Corps Operators and Maintainers.

Develop update program provisioning plans.

Update the provisioning technical data and engineering data for provisioning.

Qualifications

Experience:

Must have experience supporting DoD programs for either five (5) years (with a Bachelor s Degree), seven (7) years (with an Associate s Degree), or a High School Diploma and nine (9) years. Experience must include at least five (5) years experience with five (5) of the following types of support:

  • Logistics Planning

  • Program Submissions

  • Acquisition Logistics

  • Resource Requirement Development

  • Base Operations (BASOPS) Support

  • Equipment Fielding

  • Force Management/Development

  • Authorization Document Development

  • Resource Programming

  • Qualitative Analysis and Project Management

  • Development and Analysis of Logistics Plans

Education:

Either five (5) years (with a Bachelor s Degree) with a concentration in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, seven (7) years (with an Associate s Degree), or a High School Diploma and nine (9) years. DAU (or equivalent) Logistics Level I or higher certification in Logistics is preferred.
