Video Equipment Integrator - RACKFAB

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Video Engineer to join our team for a program that supports a variety of customer IT requirements with a focus on providing productive and collaborative workspace to support dynamic mission requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participates on complex project teams and provides guidance to technical staff.

  • Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area.

  • Solves a range of straightforward problems.

  • Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area.

  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

  • Will not have any supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates.

  • Explains information to others in straightforward situations.

Will participate in some or all of the following activities:

  • Engineering Services and Implementation Support.

  • Audio and Visual Equipment Testing and Configuration.

  • Audio and Visual Equipment Initial Validation.

Hours of Coverage:

  • Individual shift may vary, but you will be a member of a team that provides coverage from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.

  • Must demonstrate ability to thrive and succeed in a challenging environment.

  • Proficiency in many aspects of information technology.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills due to variety of groups to be working with, such as co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information. 

  • Resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone or self-service that involve A/V equipment and integrated systems.

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office product suite.

  • Knowledge of component and transmission medium compatibility and interconnection.

  • Willingness to travel locally, as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience. 4+ additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related work experience in a technical help desk position.

  • Experience with data transfer services.

  • IAT Level II certification.

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM.

  • Prior experience managing projects from low-mid complexity.

  • ITIL® v4 Foundation, or higher, certification .

NOTE : Multiple levels of seniority are available dependent on qualifications/experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Must be able to stand at a table or work bench for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer. 

  • Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier equipment as part of a “team lift”.
