ManTech Cyber Services Lead IV in San Antonio, Texas

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Services Lead IV in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Cyber Services Lead IV serves as the interface among program, customers, and contracting representatives. They manage overall cybersecurity aspects of a multi-tenant, multi-vendor, complex 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. They analyze, design, develop, and deploy advanced cybersecurity and multi-cloud engineering projects to implement security operations and technical solutions compliant with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF). They manage projects in accordance with the performance, schedule, and budget negotiated with each customer under tailored Service Level Agreements (SLA). They coordinate within and across organizational cybersecurity disciplines on SOC development and support and SOC operations, including cyber investigative tasks, analysis, reporting, resource requirements, task suspense, and incident remediation. They collaborate with Agency infrastructure engineering for the implementation, maintenance, and operation of cybersecurity appliances, tools, and technologies, and support Government Agency leadership by making recommendations and supporting initiatives to reduce project costs and enhance the customer cybersecurity framework (automation, equipment, tools, technology, process, and training). Their key operational management responsibilities include development, review, and update of Incident Response (IR) Plans, policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), IR Playbooks, knowledge articles, and other operational documentation. They oversee the team monitoring intrusion detection and prevention systems and other security event data sources collected on a 24x7 basis in traditional perimeter security and proactive management in Zero Trust environments. CONUS travel may be required between SOC and multiple customer sites, as needed. The Cyber Services Lead IV is an SME responsible for cybersecurity and multi-cloud engineering oversight in a complex watch environment. The Cyber Services Lead IV supervises and mentors subordinate projects and Team ManTech staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12 years of related experience and Bachelor's degree STEM related discipline OR

  • 14 years of related experience and Associate's degree in STEM related discipline OR

  • 16 years of related experience and HS degree

  • (A candidate holding a relevant master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.)

  • DoD 8570.1-m IAT Level II by start date

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional certifications.

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience leading and managing large complex cybersecurity operations programs.

  • 7 years of experience in project management, leading programs of at least 15 FTEs.

  • Experience performing SOC operations, incident response, cyber tool engineering and support for SIEM, EDR/MDR/XDR, IDS/IPS tools, Red Team assessments, network management, and NIST RMF evaluations. Interpersonal, organizational, writing, communications, and briefing and managerial skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in achieving Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Continuous ATO (cATO).

  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III, ISC2 CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP ISSMP certifications.

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other closely related IT discipline.

  • CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN certifications.

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft TechCenter, or Jira ticketing systems.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
