ManTech CDM Configuration Analyst, Junior in Reston, Virginia

Overview:

ManTech is

seeking an experienced Configuration Management Analyst to join our team in Reston VA to provide

unparalleled support to our customers and to begin an exciting career at

ManTech. As a member of the Service Transition organization, the Configuration

Management Analyst will work closely with engineers, testers, trainers as well

as government agency personnel to perform configuration management and release

planning activities related to Test Lab environments in support of the

deployment of cyber solutions. The Configuration Management analyst will execute configuration management

activities against established solutions for internal and external configuration

management functions on a large-scale cyber program.

Responsibilities

include but not limited to:

  • The ConfigurationManagement Analyst will perform all key functions for the facilitation,execution, and reporting of all configuration management practices bothinternally and in coordination with government agencies.

  • Maintainthe configuration management processes and procedures within the Changemanagement Plan to support both internal and external configuration management.

  • Engage internal and external stakeholdersthroughout the configuration management process to ensure comprehensivecommunications related to upcoming changes.

  • Review/manage changes for internal test labenvironments, manage changes throughout configuration items (CIs) life cycle.

  • Conduct configuration item (CI) tracking, status, accounting, and audits.

  • Provide support in ConfigurationPlanning, Identification, Configuration Baseline Control and ConfigurationAuditing activities.

  • Administer/maintain data repository(CMDB) to support program needs and ensure integrity/operational performance ofCMDB.

  • Create/manage program CI baselines& prepare/inspect deployment baseline packages.

  • Assist the Configuration Management Leadwith tracking, logging, categorizing and maintaining configuration changes madeagainst established baselines.

  • Review changes in configurationdatabase for compliance with industry standards as well as contractual andinternal requirements.

  • Generateand evaluate Configuration Management metrics.

  • Supportcreation of contract deliverables and configuration management projectartifacts.

  • Supporttraining efforts as required - provide input, document requirements and supportthe design and delivery of training programs

Required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor sdegree.

  • 3+years demonstrated configuration management & asset management relatedexperience.

  • Experiencewith ITSM management tools (i.e. Service Now, Remedy).

  • Experience working with the federal government agency.

  • Knowledge of IT systems management, especially Systems Engineering Life Cycles (SELC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Familiarity with Waterfall and AGILE development methodologies as well as ITIL/ITSM experience.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with customer, technical, and management personnel Must possess a self-starter mentality and be an effective problem-solver.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently Exceptional organizational & multi-tasking skills.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (including MS Office suite, Visio, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and DHS Suitability clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint and JIRA.

  • Experience with requirements, change, incident, problem management.

  • DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) and other civilian agency clearances.

  • ITIL certification.
