ManTech Data Engineer (Informatica) in Owings Mills, Maryland

General Responsibilities:

· Architect,design, develop, implement, and maintain code, information architecture, andconceptual models to support data processing, and flows thru data lake · o LandingZone - data ingestion of raw data orcapture of streaming data

· o DiscoveryZone – evaluate data quality, transform raw data, and cleanse data

· o EnterpriseZone – transform into data model for external consumption by reporting &self-service BI

· Develop data & metadata policies andprocedures

· Review and evaluate database performance, riskand financial analysis feasibility studies

· Investigate and repair application defectsregardless of component including platform, business logic, data process logic,or database (SQL and data modeling).

Mandatory Skills:

· Bachelors of Science (or higher) in computer scienceor related field

· 8+ years of systems/applicationanalysis & design experience

· 5+ years of combined experience ETL(e.g. Informatica, Talend, or other ETL tool)

· o At least 3 years of experience with Informatica

· Excellent knowledge ofrelational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, RDS) including SQL, storedprocedures, data modeling

· Excellent knowledge of SQL,complex SQL tuning, and data warehouse best practices

· Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands especially inprocessing data files

Requires Bachelor s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and six to eight years of related experience.
