ManTech Asset Management Specialist in Norfolk, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a skilled Asset Manager for our Norfolk, VA location.

The candidate will perform configuration management related tasks for Asset Management of hardware and software. The candidate will work on multiple tasks related to managing, tracking, researching and maintenance expiration dates for the software license and hardware assets used. Qualified personnel must have experience in areas such as:

  • Configuration Management principles and practices.

  • A technical background to understand software licensing terms and related hardware requirements.

  • Prior asset management experience with an ability to evaluate and maintain software license agreements and provide related recommendations.

  • Ability to develop and execute processes needed to effectively manage program software versions and hardware assets.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products is required (Excel, Project, and Word).

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively relate to management as well as employ effective techniques to retrieve information needed from various constituencies such as geographically dispersed project personnel and vendors.

  • Candidate will ensure that CM practices related to asset management are followed using appropriate and professional communication techniques and strategies.

  • Coordinate asset management activities, as needed, among the various project team roles and across programs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organization skills to prioritize work and balance projects

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Top Secret clearance is required.


Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
