At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.ManTech is seeking a Multi Media Training Developer professional to support the Space Force in the development and sustainment of launch and range training programs at Vandenberg Space Force Base in Lompoc, CA. We assist the Space Force by supporting a multitude of areas, including Systems Engineering & Integration, Acquisition & Program Management Support, Mission Integration Management, System Safety & Environmental Engineering, Systems Security & Information Assurance, Launch Schedule and Risk Management, Certification of New Entrant Launch Vehicles. This position will be part of a small team that works side-by-side with Space Force training specialists with the goal of providing military and civilian personnel the most effective and efficient training possible to ensure the Government’s continued assured access to space.

  • Develop, implement, validate, and update Space Launch Delta 30 (SLD 30) training programs and materials for spacelift acquisitions, engineering, operations, and maintenance IAW AFI 36-2651 and SLD 30 training guidance. Products include, but are not limited to, training plans, computer-based training, virtual reality-based training, classroom training, scenario-based exercises, on-the-job training, and launch rehearsals. Training programs support the familiarization, qualification, and certification of unit personnel.

  • Track updates to training requirements associated with personnel qualification, certification, professional development, and ancillary training. Notify the unit training section when changes occur, provide recommendations to ensure program compliance and implement approved changes, to include, but not limited to, updating training plans, databases, records, and checklists.

  • Design and edit quality graphics, audio and video and 3-D computer models for electronic or physical materials used for training, mission familiarization, and facility enhancement. The following Adobe applications are among available software to develop these products: Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Solidworks.

  • Coordinate with vendors for out-sourced projects to relay requirements, obtain quotes and assess quality of vendor products and services.

  • Evaluate, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and update the SLD 30 Learning Management System (LMS). Recommend enhancements to the customer and implement changes in line with Government priorities. Respond to user problems, perform troubleshooting, assist software engineers to troubleshoot complex issues, and implement timely fixes as necessary to maintain maximum availability to users. Update user documentation.

  • Inspect, maintain, and update individual training records, ensuring that the data is current and accurate. Record systems include, but are not limited to, those in the SLD 30 LMS, Training Business Area (TBA) and Advanced Distributed Learning Service (ADLS).

  • Develop, execute, and update scenario-based exercises and mission rehearsals.

  • Evaluate the SLD 30 team during rehearsals, shadow operations, exercises, and Day of Launch and provide recommendations and lessons learned to improve the effectiveness of SLD 30 operations and training.

  • Provide backup support during launch operations and training events by operating the Launch Support Center video systems and integrating with communications providers to troubleshoot voice communications and telemetry system issues. Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in areas of computer-based modeling, visual media, animation, audio/visual content development, training movie productions, solid works, illustrator, premiere etc.

  • Minimum of 2 years of NSSL, Launch/Range, DoD, or NASA multimedia experience. Security Clearance: Secret Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $103,800-$172,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
