ManTech Senior Maintenance Supervisor - GERMANY in Kaiserslautern, Germany

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join our Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Senior Maintenance Supervisor typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.

  • They oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific TA.

  • The Senior Maintenance Supervisor plans, directs, or coordinates the engineering and maintenance operations of the contract.

  • Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily maintenance and supply operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

  • They work closely with functional area leads for the management or administration of personnel.

  • Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.

  • Manages multiple and diverse maintenance sites.

Required Qualifications :

  • Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered

  • Ten (15) years of maintenan experience in a related field.

  • German Master Mechanic

  • Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines.

  • Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting knowledge to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.

  • Ability to provide formal, over-the-shoulder, and on-the-spot training to contractor and unit personnel.

  • Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

  • Possession of a valid European or Germandriver's license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a validdrivinglicense before beginning employment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferable.

  • Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems.

  • Willingness to travel to hostile areas is desired.

  • Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.

  • Some OCONUS deployments may be to risky hostile ("war zone") environments, which earn larger bonuses.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active ( DoD) Public Trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and knee.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
