ManTech Field Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana
Performs work, which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Additional responsibilities may include: installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading a wide variety of proprietary computerized electro-mechanical systems for customers in the U.S. and foreign locations. Domestic and foreign travel may be required.
7 or more years technical experience
Must have past experience with computer/applications
Basic experience with network routers/switch configuration
Ability to troubleshoot/solve variety of problems
Electrical and mechanical engineering
Experience in a variety of different commercial work environments for example, customer showrooms, factory floors, computer rooms, etc
May also require work in confined spaces to access machinery wiring, controls, and components
Experience with any of the following preferred: Radio Frequency, circuit breakers, blue prints, turbo jets, Networking, Networking Engineering/Security
Associates degree preferred
Requires Associate's degree (in related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
