ManTech Site Program Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Site Program Manager to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Site Manager will provide hands-on oversight and management for the technical and functional activities of the program. All aspects of meeting the requirements of the contract are the responsibility of the Site Manager. Together with the management team and in collaboration with the Government customer, the Site Manager will ensure that business systems and operational technical support are provided to meet the needs of the customer and successfully meet the KPIs.

The Site Manager is the primary manager responsible for daily and scheduled reporting and interface with the Government and company corporate office. The Site Manager will:

  • Establish and/or deploy a common set of project management processes and templates.

  • Facilitate improved project team communications by having common processes, deliverables, and terminologies

  • Work with HQ to ensure all support functions to the site are well coordinated, efficient and effective

  • Proactively manage people resources to ensure the right staff for the requirements

  • Develop and maintain management succession plans

  • Develop strong customer relations and actively seek feedback

  • Work to promote a positive work environment for employees and our customers

  • The Site Manager will formulate strategic plans with his/her management team in collaboration with the Government that establishes a roadmap for future operations

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technical experience (Senior Operation Engineer)

  • 5+ years of management experience in O&M of IT operations

  • Experience managing technical groups of 25 or more with subordinate mangers

  • Experience working in an environment where security and controls are important

  • 2+ years of experience implementing SAFe and/or DevOps practices in a federal government IT environment.

  • Strong organizational, communication and collaborative skills

  • Write concisely both business and technical correspondences

  • Strong people skills at all levels of a company organization and customer organization

  • Provide leadership and planning strategy with the clients’ senior executives and managers.

  • Must be able to track basic information on the status of all projects and provide project visibility to management in a common and consistent manner.

  • Coordinate new system designs, plans, and migration activities as new topologies are addressed.

  • General knowledge of Information Technology standards and best practices in a service delivery environment (ITIL)

  • Experience with Management and control of complex information system of systems

  • Familiarity with data control and information management

  • Experience with analyzing customer requirements and aiding with requirement documentation

Preferred Certifications:

  • Bachelor (BA/BS) degree in Information Systems or other relevant discipline

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • ITIL 4 certification

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • An Active DOD Secret clearance is required along with the ability to obtain an agency suitability clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, review and effectively respond to electronic as well as verbal communications.

  • This position supports an IT operations environment. All employees should expect to support work on nights and weekends and may be included in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

  • Must be able to remain stationary up to 75% of the time in an office environment

  • Must be able to traverse between one work location to another to accomplish work duties

  • Must be able to operate IT equipment such as a computer, copier, fax machine, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $116,400-$167,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
