Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team in Chantilly, VA area.

The successful candidate will provide on-site administrative support and coordination to a complex contract, project or task(s) for a Group Lead.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the administrative and clerical functions of assigned team, contracts, projects, or tasks.

  • Maintains office records and files.

  • Collect time sheets and other personnel records or paperwork for corporate and government processing.

  • Provide administrative support to Senior Management (to include: managing calendars, answering telephones, reviewing documents, making travel, responding to correspondence, maintaining office staff phone contact lists, managing vehicle and parking pass log book.

  • Performs other duties as assigned, such as Human Resources, Records Management, Facilities (to include escorting), and Security functions.

  • Schedule meetings and reserve conference rooms.

  • Provide coverage (as needed) across functional Administrative Team.

  • Attend and facilitate meetings, and capture meeting minutes (as directed).

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 8+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience.

  • Strong experience and understanding of administrative processes – to include:

  • Experience supporting Senior Management (to include: managing calendars, answering telephones, reviewing documents (including professional documents, memorandums, awards, OPRs, etc), making travel preparations (experience with eTrip is desired), responding to correspondence, maintaining office staff phone contact lists, managing. vehicle and parking pass log book. Proficient in MS Office Tools (to include: Outlook, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Led scheduling meetings, reserving conference rooms, communicating meeting logistics (verbally and in writing), and captured meeting minutes.

  • Maintained office records and files.

  • Have strong Typing Skills (50+ wpm).

  • Assisted in other functional areas (that require administrative support).

  • Worked independently on tasks (with minimal guidance).

  • Worked in a team environment and provided coverage for teammates.

  • Have exceptional oral and written communication, organizational skills, and team-building skills.

  • Have worked in a fast-paced environment and experienced in multi-tasking, working under quick timelines assisting multiple clients.

  • Travel approximately CONUS 25% of the time.

Additional Desired Requirements:

  • Demonstrate expert-level analytical and Critical Thinking Skills.

  • Have strong interpersonal, people, and listening skills.

  • Must be very responsive to tasking and able to work well independently and in groups.

  • Previous NRO experience is highly desired.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
