Currently, ManTech is actively seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Mission Integrator to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.

The System Administrator supports the team in the upkeep of Information Technology (IT) systems and maintains infrastructure and standard operating procedures for the systems continuing performance. Supports day to day operations as well as monitors and resolves issues for customer/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices pertain to Information Technology systems. This position aids in resolving issues and providing support for hardware complications as well as the dispatch system. This position will also set up, update, and ensure functionality of operating systems and network components to improve integrity and efficiency. This position will support activities within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports implementing, troubleshooting and the maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

  • Manages IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices.

  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

  • Provide technical support to computer users to help solve users’ problems.

  • Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems (OS), Microsoft Exchange Server, and as needed RHEL OS administration and associated hardware.

  • Follow Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to maintain the service; build Tactics, Techniques and Processes (TTPs) and Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) associated with service checklists.

  • Technical competency in one or more of the following supported platforms: VMWare/ESXi, Enterprise networking and firewall systems, Group Policy configuration, Scripting, WSUS, Microsoft 365

Basic Qualifications :

  • Associates degree in related area or equivalent experience (2 years)

  • Minimum of 1 year of Information Technology System Engineer experience

  • Must have CompTIA Security+ prior to hire.

  • TS/SCI with eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information

  • Counterintelligence (CI) Poly or willingness to submit to a CI polygraph.

  • Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.

  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • An openness to learning new technologies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
