ManTech Systems Engineer in Aurora, Colorado

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to support the drive of software design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing and deployment activities for efficiencies on our team in the Aurora, CO area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • ​​Coordinate with Chief Engineer (CE)/Chief Architect (CA) to review SOW and recommend platform resources, software, and implementation approach.

  • ​Serveas liaison to ensure smooth initial standup of needed development andproduction environments.

  • ​Support path to production process ensure smooth initial deployments as well as subsequent updates and re-deploys to production.

  • ​Support planning and execution of testing, to include supporting stand up of specific test environments.

  • ​Represent and advise on platform needs for integration testing and performance testing.

  • ​Provide ongoing support to O&M needs, representingprogram needs to platform providers.

  • ​Support strategic discussions for future enhancements, improvements, and upgrades to platform offerings.

  • ​Document emerging needs of developers and propose future changes.

  • ​Interface with platform providers and ensure smooth coordination and communication between various platform providers.​

Basic Qualifications :

  • ​Experience with various levels of testing (requirements verification, feature testing, and/or unit testing).

  • ​Experience with interface definition and documentation.

  • ​Experience with CONOPS development.

  • ​Experience working on an Agile scrum team.

  • ​Experience with automated testing.

  • ​Experience with DevSecOps.

  • ​Experience with Cloud technologies.

  • ​Relevant Domain knowledge.​

  • ​​B.S. in a technical field with 4+ years of professional experience OR Master's Degree in a technical field with 2+ years of professional experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • An active and current ​TS/SCI w/ poly​ is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
