ManTech CCR Technical Operations Team Lead - Worldwide Logistics in Arlington, Virginia

The CCR Logistic

Team Leader is a subject matter expert who leads the CCR engineering team in

all aspects of CCR program product development, sustainment, and testing. The

Logistics Team Leader supports U.S. Department of State CCR requirements in

multiple overseas theaters in potentially high-threat environments and may be

required to deploy TDY to these locations in support of the CCR logistic

efforts. During overseas deployments,

the Logistics Team Leader may be required to rotate between theaters and to

multiple locations within each theater. The Logistics Team Leader reports directly to the CCR Program Lead

and will support the logistic efforts of the CCR program. The Logistics Team Leader position is

responsible for the overall technical management of communications systems

infrastructure used by Diplomatic Security worldwide to include the overall management

and administration for P25 Infrastructure and 7.17 Simulcast Trunking Systems

for Iraq and Afghanistan through database management, troubleshooting, and

vendor coordination. The Logistics Team Leader will develop complete CCR

integration solutions and the associated bill of materials for each platform

to provide a finished product to be properly fielded. The Logistics Team Leader with work

closely with Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) employees to ensure

interoperability when applicable. The Logistics

Team Leader will be responsible to verify each platform can support the CCR

system as well as other associated equipment and provide solutions when

required. The CCR Logistics will

develop comprehensive test plans as well as provide on-site U.S. Department

of State oversight during verification testing in accordance with

configuration management protocols. The CCR Logistics will demonstrate and

apply a broad knowledge of specialization through successful completion of

moderately complex assignments. The Logistics

Team Leader will apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices,

and procedures of particular area of specialization.


Responsibilities :

Provides direct oversight and supervision of the CCR Logistics Team.


Must have a current

US Government TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance. Must be eligible for

and able to obtain and maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals.

Must be eligible for a TS/SCI to meet full performance requirements. Must possess a Bachelor s Degree or

advanced degree in a related discipline as well as fifteen (15) years

technical experience in technical support for modern CCR systems; knowledge

of radio frequency (RF) theory and principle, and the effects of CREW systems

operating in an electronic countermeasures environment; experience planning

vehicle movements, with vehicles equipped with CCR and ECM systems;

understanding insurgent Improvised Explosive (IED) emplacement tactics. Must

be able to develop Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTP s) for deploying

vehicles equipped with CCR and ECM systems based on the national, local, and

immerging Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) threat. Must

demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of CCR and ECM systems used by the U.S.

Department of State, including the CREW-2 (Duke), EGON, and Symphony systems.

The successful

candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

mastery of communications technology, theory and current developments in electronics

and communication theory, systems and equipment; strong background in P25

telecommunications trunking environment functional and specific knowledge

pertaining to Diplomatic Security needs in a high threat environment; knowledge

of various platforms of P25 equipment including Motorola, Kenwood, and Harris

products; understand and demonstrate key principles of effective management,

including project planning, organization, and prioritization of resources; ability

to manage, plan, design, and deploy a wide array of complex communications

systems; ability to manage business operations and administrative functions

relating to P25communications systems, including long-term planning,

establishing policies, goals, and objectives; develop and implement technical

standards and procedures for a variety of communications systems and evaluate

their efficiency and effectiveness; use effective management and supervisory

techniques to plan, manage, and evaluate the work of subordinates of varying

technical and administrative knowledge and abilities.

Position requires

self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal

supervision. Must demonstrate the

ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional,

diplomatic, and tactful manner. Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability

to work as a member of a cohesive team. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced

environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail. Must possess excellent writing and verbal

skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and

office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).

Within the first

year of employment, attend training and obtain the following certifications:

Required –Internal Tower Climbing, Safety & Rescue Course; Project

Management Professional (PMP); Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA); CompTIA

Net+; Motorola WAVE Certified Integration Engineer (WCIE). Recommended -

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Certified Cisco

Network Associate (CCNA); Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Windows 10 or Server 2012/2016; CompTIA Security+; External Tower Climbing,

Safety & Rescue Instructor Course
